As part of our company's Coolnat program, we have developed a range of CO2 ice machines. CO2 is a natural refrigerant and is becoming popular as an alternative to freon based refrigerants, which are now recognised as harmful to our environment.

One of the most proactive market sectors, driving change in this regard is the supermarket sector, who have already made significant changes to their infrastructure. Many have already switched to central refrigeration systems, incorporating environmentally friendly refrigerants.

Ziegra's new range of CO2 ice machines are therefore proving to be a popular choice for supermarket procurement teams.

The machine shown here left, provides ice for the display counter above.

Ice is dispensed into the storage bin below. When the bin is full, ice can be wheeled to the fish counter and transferred onto the display bed.

The machine is connected to the central refrigeration system and of course power and water, by means of convenient fittings at the back of the ice machine.
