The UBE 7.500-2 RV ice production machine feeds the AS 500 ice storage unit with ice by gravity.
The AS 500 buffers up to 500kg of ice ready for dispensing into the customers own carts.

The amount of ice required is set on the operating control screen, after dosing the display shows the dosing amount selected and the actual dosed amount.
Once the amount has been selected and confirmed, the dosing begins. The control and weighing system measures the ice being dispensed in real time, then stops the delivery once the value is reached.
When the cart has been filled, the ice can be added to the bowl chopper just like any other ingredient. The unit provides hygiene, accuracy and repeatability when using ice for cooling.
The ideal ice storage temperature of -0.5degC ensures that the ice does not stick together during storage, so the loose, friable ice pieces are mixed evenly through the product.
The small ice pieces ensure that the ice delivers its cooling power very quickly, melting into water during the chopping process, so no ice pieces are left over to cause problems further down the production process.
