UBE3.500-2 ice machine

The UBE2.3500-2 is a 3.5 tonne plug in ice machine with a choice of three sizes of ice chip/flake.The machine is simple to install, the only site work required is the connection of utilities and ice pipe. It is continuously rated and works fully automatically. No moving parts in the refrigeration circuit of the evaporator, hence no leaks due to rotating seals.

The -2 machines are like two smaller ice machines wrapped up in one frame. The UBE3.500-2 consists of 2 x 1.75 tonnes in one body for maximum up time and reliability. -2 machines are very popular in remote areas, or where ice is vital to an operation.

Helps prevent the ingress of dirt and dissolved minerals which can coat evaporation surfaces, block lines and jam valves.

A standard packaged ice machine has the condenser built into it. This is fine in enviroments that are cool and well ventilated, with clean air, however for environments that get hot, dusty or do not have very good ventilation a remote condenser mounted outside the building is the solution. Remote machines must only be professionally installed by persons qualified to do so. Remote condensers come weatherproofed as standard for outside installation, however for applications close to the sea, saltwater resistant Cu/Cu condensers are recommended.

Every Ziegra ice machine has as standard a sealed water system for maximum possible water hygiene. However for applications where hygiene is a high priority, additonal systems can be fitted. Auto water drain down empties the water resovoir every time the machine is switched off, preventing water from stagnating in the tank. Auto water drain down is available separately or with an additional auto flushing system. This system can be pre-set to automatically flush through the water system with clean water at intervals pre-determined by the customer.

Smartcart 240 ice transport cart
109kg capacity insulated ice cart, moulded from food safe polymer for maximum hygiene. Also available a set of six totes to fit inside the cart, 11kg capacity each to make applying ice a little easier on the back.
