The construction of the SG970 is of welded steel shell and frame. The exterior finish is stainless steel front, top, sides, back and bottom.

The bin has a non-corroding, seamless polyethylene liner inside. Insulation is non-CFC polyurethane foam, bonded to shell and liner for added strength. Lower door assemblies have non-corroding poly snouts, poly lift doors with PowerHinges to eliminate gaskets and latches and inner SmartGates to positively control ice flow into the snout areas and reduce spillage. Both lower door assemblies can be easily removed by removing three screws for installation through narrow doors. Upper inspection doors are double-wall poly to increase durablity and minimize meltage and condensation.

Legs adjustable from 152mm to 191mm.

The bin drain is 26mm FPT ridid PVC

The bin is NSF listed and comes complete with a large ice scoop in hygienic plastic.
